Aims

Aims This Safer People Handling (Manual Handling) Train the Trainer Training course is an update course for those with responsibility for manual handling training or those who are risk assessing for manual handling. This one day course takes the candidate through a set format of theoretical and practical manual handling update issues, each candidate will deliver a 10 minute presentation.

• Re visit legislation
• Re visit the spine and posture

•Responsibilities and Initial assessment 
•Session planning and design
•Teaching and learning approaches

•10 minute Micro teach

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of this update course each candidate will be able to:

•Build a basic lesson plan and develop a session
